What is Monero AutoPilot?
AutoPilot is a Windows desktop wallet for sending, receiving, and managing Monero. Your keys stay on your device, and your wallets, payments, and connection controls are all in one place.
Do I need to install Tor separately?
No. AutoPilot includes its own Tor client and starts it as part of the connection flow. There’s no separate Tor installation to manage.
Who holds my wallet keys?
The desktop wallet keeps its keys on your device. The node server does not hold your recovery phrase or spending keys. Keep your recovery phrase private: anyone who has it can restore the wallet.
What does “AutoPilot” do automatically?
It manages the wallet connection and retries permitted routes. Payments still require your review and PIN authorization. It does not automatically resend a payment when its outcome is uncertain.
Can I restore an existing wallet?
Yes. Choose Restore wallet in the desktop app and enter your Monero recovery phrase there. Keep that phrase private and never enter it on a website.
